The last weekend that I can properly go out has just passed, and now it is to study I shall buckle down. :( But regardless, had a good time on all counts!

Went through the article on friday, which now reminds me that I should finish reading and analysing that thing, plus send out the file I typed out to everybody ... and hope it helps, since I didn't exactly know what was going on and the discussion was going a little fast. :S Something tells me that I should brush up my FCP. Went for Hillsong after, it was really good only they didn't play many of their best songs. And half of us got stuck outside. Deepak and Gordo left halfway so that Joey, Daniel and Jess could come in though, so I guess all was fair. Not really, but fair enough. Saw some of my church people, and Tiffy and I were really hyped up - I think we may have kinda freaked Jess out *lol*. Definately do it again! Stayed out for a bit after that, then hitched a lift back to college.

Church Saturday morning, and then headed to Wendy's place in the afternoon. I actually slept, then suddenly woke up at 4.45 pm and realised that I was supposed to be at Wendy's at 5 pm - only I hadn't actually arranged a lift yet. So rang Sven in panic and managed to wrangle a lift! :D It was the (supposed) AGM of WAASA (new name, Western Australian Adventist Student's Association), only it was so informal it was funny. It mainly consisted of discussing something and then Sven would go "ok, so who wants to/whose turn is it to move this?"
"Who wants to second? You? Ok."
"All in favour."
"Aye."
"Opposed..."
*babble* (WHAT are you actually supposed to say if you're opposed? Is it "nay" or "me" or something?)
[Gavin] "I move that we ajourn for pancakes."
[All] "AYE!"

The bank is going to have the biggest laugh reading through the minutes of this meeting. Especially when they reach "The notion for the ajournment of the meeting in the interest of the consumption of pancakes was moved by Gavin McKenzie, and was seconded by...".

I probably need to go and study now. :( Exams start on the 12th of June. Somebody SAVVVVEEEEEE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~~

However, my text of the week:
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
- Isaiah 40:31

I love God's promises.
