Me: . Is the indie kid without the indie pretentiousness. I'm the Aussie wannabe that tries too hard. I have officially spent the majority of the last couple of days being AFK. Basically I got back to college from home, threw some stuff into a bag, and ran off to church stuff for the weekend, came back late Saturday. Said bye to parents Sunday morning, spent the rest of the day with the boy that I'd missed over the hols ... Monday PBL, then went to his house, after which headed to Tiffy's birthday party (happy birthday again!). Didn't sleep, hung at Tiff's place till 5, got back to college, and he hung around till like 8.30? And then I crashed and woke up this morning.

So so so full on! I'm mentally dead now - especially since it's ALSO raining; don't really like rain, in my current mood it can be fairly depressing.

On another note, had 2 lectures that mainly focused on female reproduction today, and OMG we are so damn complicated. With all those hormones and organs and endometrium and whatnot. Lol, guys are going to hate women by the time we finish reproduction, after having to remember hormones and their wax and wane. I can already begin to hear the whines of "why do you girls have to be so cooommmplicaaaaaateddddd". And the bones and orientation of the pelvis? So uncool. I wish my brain had a CD slot, and then I could just load Netter's Anatomy and never have to worry about the names of all those landmarks. Lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you see it) dentals, they don't have to do this stuff. Their turn to take over Slackerville!

Maybe I've been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

There was a time you'd let me know
What's real and going on below
But now you never show it to me do you?
Remember when I moved in you?
The holy dark was moving too
And every breath we drew was hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Maybe there's a God above
And all I ever learned from love
Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
It's not a cry you can hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah
