I'm sitting around trying to study after a couple of glasses of only moderately bad white and very rich coffee souffle, so I'm sure I will be excused for pottering around the net for a while before going back to reading up on the embyrology of the gastro-intestinal tract. No, I don't keep wine in my room; it's commencement dinner at college tonight. Good food and bad entertainment, that's the way it is now. Last year's was better organised and more fun, but then again last year we had a crazy House Committee and an even crazier president, not to mention deranged freshers. Things just aren't the same without Flick and Clare around (to bitch about how the dessert they just refused to eat was going to make them fat), and Winnie isn't very familar with college exuberance. Well, I guess one moves on.

It has its ups though - like how I just had a tipsy fresher come through my door and start singing Japanese pop, not to mention also doing the cheerleading routine to the Japanese version of "Hey Mickey" while dressed in the equivalent of a white bedsheet. I'll remind her of that in the morning.

Oh, and what about all those loud discussions involving converting all women to the use of tampons? (No, I'm not kidding. Tampons are great things.)
