lazy saturday

Hm, I didn't end up going to church today- all the youth went to North Beach, and I didn't see the point of going along, and so I had a lazy Saturday. I needed some "alone time" at any rate, you can't imagine how mind-numbing it is when you've spent every waking moment surrounded with other people for weeks and weeks. So Chelle took herself off to King's Park armed with Jester's pies for lunch, as well as her bible and a sketchbook. Not to mention trusty Creative MuVo... Yes so I had an enjoyable day, thank you very much, aside from the fact that I sorta got lost on the way there (I walked) cos I wasn't concentrating and didn't follow the college road. Thankfully this is a case of all roads lead to Rome, only some roads (e.g. the one I ended up following) are longer than most. Still, I made it there in the end. That's what matters!

So went to King's Park and discovered that I've well and truly forgotten how to sketch, this means I'll have to practice again until I get it back... it's not a good skill to lose! Well played with my camera, and here's some of the results...

perth

This is Perth- my favourite city. Ever.

war memorial

The War Memorial... a tribute to those that died.

But still we musn't forget the little and amazing things that are out there- like how when I was trying out my macro and took this picture with a perfect, tiny little ladybug... I don't know, it's like how you can find peace and perfection in the tiniest little things. I didn't even notice the bug until I got home and uploaded the pics!

Yeah, got back to college about 4+pm, didn't get lost coming back this time!

Now I have to do my friggin' physiology lab. Maybe I'll type it out for once.
