I've booked our flights to Kathmandu. The deposit is down, documents are being signed and the monies are being transferred.

So. We're going.

And the pure luck of it all! For ages the cheapest flights that I could find sat at around $2200, and we were considering flying budget to Singapore and then taking Silkair out, just so we could save like $200 bucks each. These were airfares that I couldn't afford and felt bad asking my parents to pay. So I checked them again on a whim, and Studentflights was advertising some deal where prices started at $1625. "Well," I thought. Why not call and find out?

Bullshit. I got airfares for $1421, return Perth to Kathmandu, on Singapore Airlines, taxes included. With a 4 day stopover on the way back to boot. The travel agent couldn't believe it and triple-checked everything. I didn't stop to think very long, I just put money on it.

And all one day before the offer expired.

God gives the awesomest blessings - He's watching, never doubt it.

So, everything's set in stone. We're going.
