dusk candles.

I got some candles from Dusk to burn. Well, I got 3 smallish ones that add up to like (15 x 3 =) 45 hrs of burning, so pretty happy, and my room smells nice. HOWEVER the salesgirls also cheated me and made me pay for stuff I didn't buy! *grrr* Oh well I guess it's partly my fault for not checking the damn receipt.

Um, yeah I was supposed to be at uni still (till 4), but I skipped Liam O'Connor's lectures. Cos man he is boring and I quite literally do not get anything out of his lectures. The rationale is that there is no point going to his lectures and zoning out when I can go run a couple of errands and read his notes anyway (he reads off his transparencies, which are my notes) - which technically leaves me with much more efficient usage of time. Now I'm home, and blogging before I do an iLecture and the damn pharmacology SDLs.

But I've got some new books courtesy of Clare's birthday present to me! *yay*

It was a Border's voucher, yeah. :)

My library now includes:
  • Notes from a Small Island - Bill Bryson
  • Midnight's Children - Salman Rushdie (Man Booker Prize, 1981. "Booker of Bookers", 1993 - best novel to be awarded the Booker Prize in its first 25 years.)
  • Vernon God Little - DBC Pierre (Man Booker Prize, 2003.)
Awesome.
