watching soccer.

The Normal Systems theory paper is finally finally FINALLY over and I can smell the relief in the air!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, yesterday 9 am in the morning, sitting there for 3 hours with a blank uncomprehensive look on my face sure was fun. It's like the people who set the paper came together one day and mused "now wouldn't it be fun to test unimportant little details that they've never heard of in their entire lives instead of physiological concepts that actually matter?". I mean, seriously. No one's ever heard of HMG CoA - ever wondered why? It's because YOU CAN'T FIND IT IN ANY LECTURE!

But other than that had a good day yesterday - tried to learn to play tennis, didn't get very far and temporarily stuffed up my wrist and left shoulder. Then I got assulted by a soccer ball, so I abandoned the idea of sport and Tiffy, Jess and I just sat around being fairly ineffective cheerleaders (hysterical laughter complicates things when you're trying to be stupid).

Went to Tiff's place with everyone to watch the World Cup - Australia vs Japan. Initially it was: 4 Jap supporters (Tiff, Gordo, Ed, Jess), 2 Aussie supporters (Deepak, Daniel), and 1 neutral (yours truly) - but after that cheap (CHEAP) goal that Japan scored I couldn't be neutral anymore and entered into the fray. The entire session degenerated pretty quickly into a disorganised screaming at the TV and questioning of the opposing side's taste in hairstyles and integrity. Anyway Aus scored 3 goals in the last 6 minutes, so TAKE THAT! HAH!!! Go Cahill!!!!
